When offshore oil platforms stop producing and it’s time for them to be decommissioned, or subsea pipelines need to be removed or repaired, Genesis has mobile shears and subsea shears for onshore and offshore decommissioning.

Onshore, Genesis mobile shears process platforms and jackets to prepared sizes much more quickly and efficiently than traditional methods, increasing scrap processing productivity while decreasing time and cost.

Offshore, the Genesis Subsea Shear is pressure-tested to operate at depths down to 10,000 feet for platform decommissioning, pipeline and piling cutting, and underwater steel cutting.
